Takarazuka
So, one of the friends I've made while in Japan, lokaichan, has totally got me into Takarazuka - the all-female Japanese musical theatre. I went to see Paradise Prince with her a couple months ago and it was AWESOME! I've always loved musicals, and even though my grasp of Japanese is...less than stellar...it was still a great show, and I still had a pretty good idea of what was happening English flyers FTW.
So lokaichan came over on Sunday and we watched another Takarazuka production, Never Sleep, which has my favourite TK actress in it, Tomu <3. She's full of win! I can't wait to see the new production, Phoenix Wright (based on the video game), in which Tomu is the lead YAAAAY!
So now my task, should I choose to accept it, is to get my knowledge of TK up to scratch ^^. And VASTLY improve my Japanese crazyfast! HAH! Me thinks the second one is...unlikely XD. But my new DS game, My Japanese Coach, is proving to be quite handy. Still trying to grasp the different verb endings -_-. So damn challenging. But I have to practice listening more. BRING ON ANIME WITH NO SUBTITLES!
