still coming down from my fangirl high XD
It's been so long since I've updated that I actually had to look up how to make an lj-cut. O_O haha...but the reason for today's update is...to let loose some of my fangirl steam from Saturday's Korean Music Festival at the Hollywood Bowl!! <3333.
My sister and I didn't realize that it would last that long and assumed that each group would sing 1 song and then move on. Instead, each group sang about 3 songs...so it ran from 6:30-11pm, ending with some fireworks. Our seats were only so-so and we were quite a ways off from the stage, but being smack dab in the middle was nice. Plus, the row in front of us was an older couple, so they didn't have the urge to jump up and block our view as much as others. XD
Super Junior T performed first! lol, so much screaming..esp when Heechul was singing and on screen. They performed Rokkugoh, "the other song that's not chut cha", and happiness. Yesung also made a surprise appearance and sang happiness together with SuJu T. <333 We got more pictures of them cuz we weren't worried about the camera battery running out just yet =p
I enjoyed Chae Yeon's perf alot too. her songs were very catchy and cute. omg at her being able to dance in those stiletto boots tho. =]
and here is who my sister and I called "rocker dude"...it wasn't until later that we realized he was one of the old HOT members, Moon Hee Jun. but it was a great performance! rockish and he had a <3 voice. ^____^ He also kinda did that linkin park screaming thing and went "I want to dieeeeee" LOL
SNSD's perf was cute...they seemed to have mic problems though, there was one girl who barely audible whenever she sang.
Min Woo from Shinwa also performed...great dance performance in which all the girls were screaming their heads off. lol, he flipped his jacket off his shoulders -> loud screams...*M takes off his jacket* -> screaming intensifies. *M rips off his tank shirt* --> linh goes deaf XDDD
Ock Ju Hyun and SG wannabe sang their song, which is <3. Her voice is really pretty~
Fly to the Sky! Their performance was great...Brian (and the other guy whose name I don't know) their vocals were absolutely beautiful.
Son Ho Young was someone I hadn't heard of previously, but he was a really great performer. He worked the crowd up and everyone was standing and jumping along to the music. =) my sister didn't manage to get any pics or videos of him cuz we were too preoccupied with jumping and waving our glowsticks. ^__^ *did I mention that we got free glowsticks?* Those are fun and battery powered!
and for the final performer...DBSK! the screaming was absolutely crazy, and they had a really great presence onstage. Their dancing is just wow! so in sync and they actually jump high! lol *random observations from me* no pics of them here, only screencaps from the fancam that we got of their Rising sun perf. We got Rising sun and only a bit of Purple line cuz our memory card ran out. (rising sun alone took up 330mb since we had it on HQ setting...LOL) When they finished performing Rising sun, tonight, and purple line...I didn't realize that you could "call for encores" (lol..apparently lots of other ppl didn't either) so Brian (the MC) had to help the crowd cheer for one. ^___^ So DBSK came out to perform Balloons along with the other SM-ers.
then at the end, they all came out to sing some songs while the fireworks went off. =)
