So, I'm advising full time, and that means going to school every day 8-4:30. That isn't so bad except for two things: the cost of gas, and the fact that I don't have anything to wear every day. When I was teaching, I only had to worry about decent clothes 3 days out of the week. Now I have to wear something different every day. I need to buy clothes. Of course I won't get paid till the end of the month. Assuming that HR has got everything straightened out, and I don't trust them for a minute. They're bastards, all of them.
The best thing about this job is I don't have to teach THIS semester. I have to next semester, but I get a reprieve, and that's wonderful.
Life other than that is still pretty dull. I need somewhere new to live, since Auburn will be moving here in December, and I don't want to be moving in the winter. But other than that, not much is new.
Hope all is well.
