end of an era
So I am no longer the Queensland editor for FasterLouder.
Shan took over officially this weekend, my final act as editor was to approve our review of St Jeromes Laneway, which i cowrote as well, was great to have three writers for a three stage festival, it meant i was able to take some time off during the day, unlike the craziness that is BDO and Splendour.
So I'm looking forward to having my spare time back. Its great to be sitting here on a Sunday night without thinking of news items or the gig list,
course, i wouldnt be thinking of those things anyway, because, after the festival and five hours sleep last night, i had to go in to work today. its the first time ive been called in by QT, i always told them i didnt mind if they did it, but its still annoying, especially as, at the level im at, i cant get it paid out, but have to take time in leiu, still, it gives me enough time to take a day off this week, which you can be damn sure i will do.
anyway, back to the cricket...
