I don't really care that much about Australia Day. I don't particularly care about our flag (especially not wearing it), or drinking a cold beer, or going to the beach,
I celebrate living in Australia every day. I celebrate living in a pluralistic society, and do my best to protect that against those who would seek to marginalise the people who think, act, and are different to them. I voice opinions which may not be popular, and I respect those who voice opinions which are unpopular, even if I don't share them.
That is how I celebrate Australia, and I do it every day.
So today is hottest 100 day.

On a non-declaratory (did I just make up a word?) note, I've been craving the movie Braveheart lately, but I dont own it - maybe I should get it, surely it'll be cheap.
