(no subject)
There is nothing like a day of amazingness to make up for two weeks of NOTHINGNESS. That day was today, and it consisted of:
1.) Homemaking coconut ice cream in a crank ice cream maker and REAL COCONUTS which had to be sawed open and then shaved with a carrot peeler, and then serving the ice cream IN THE COCONUT SHELLS! (ps it was VEGAN COCONUT ICE CREAM! YUM)
2.) Not one but TWO spontaneous dance parties in my house to Fleetwood Mac.
3.) Going swimming in a pond with a slide on a raft in the middle of it that was very fun to go down with my brother and his friends and a dog that is an amazing swimmer and who chased a goose for 45min. straight!
4.) Attending a party with my brother's friends that I wasn't sure about, but had a great time at whilst drinking good beer, playing horseshoes (aka hitting cars with a horseshoe), and watching fireworks.
5.) My father setting up an outdoor theater in our front yard with a huge screen and a projector so that we could watch his slides from when he was 24 and took a greyhound bus across the U.S.
YAY! I needed today to happen so badly!
