Something to think about for all those of you out there who really have nothing better to do with your time (like myself unfortunately). Now on to the update.
So this weekend was good times. On Thursday night I saw a show at the Comedy and Magic Club in Hermosa Beach. It was really awesome. One of the interns I work with knows the owner so she got us free tickets. For anyone who is in the Southern California area or has a feasible way of getting there, we should go! Leno is playing there every Sunday in August and the tickets are first come, first serve so we could totally go! Friday, I left work early. It was great. I had nothing to do (still don't actually) so I just flexed my time and left at 1 o'clock. Myself and another intern, Patti, drove down to Chipotle and celebrated Burrito Friday but since we were so late it was only the two of us. After that I drove down to San Pedro and feed the kitties. I am catsitting for a family friend down there. The drive kinda sucks. Its 20 minutes each way and I have to do it everyday on top of commuting to work (and this is also not the best time to be consuming copious amounts of gasoline...my word!). However, I kinda like having a place where I can just veg out with nothing but a couple of adorable, furry kitties to keep me company! Friday night Sarah, and Malia and I saw Must Love Dogs. It was ok. There were moments of sheer cuteness but they were interspersed with moments of bad acting and trite cliche. As a matter of fact, Dermott Mulroney should just kill himself because that would be a more entertaining spectacle than the whole of his performance in the film. It was quality girl time though and that was fun. Saturday I got a mani/pedi and I got my eyebrows done. Yeah for grooming. It makes me happy. I'm sad about my fingers though. As of Sunday I was able to insert a fingernail between the polish and my nail, apply upward pressure, and peel the polish off of my entire nail in one swift motion. Oh well, at least it was only clear gloss so it doesn't really matter anyway. Sunday was church and having lunch with my uncle who lives in Hawaii that we never get to see. That was good times. Monday kinda sucked though. I had to work 9 hours to help flex the time that I took off on Friday. At first I was ok with it because I was under the impression that I would have something to do on Monday and so would not be bored. How wrong I was! I sat around and played on the internet ALL DAY LONG for lack of anything better to do. It was a bit excruciating. Today should make up for it though. Today might be the best day ever in the history of the world. Today is not only Taco Tuesday (which is phenomenal in and of itself) but I also get to go straight from Taco Tuesday to the Sea Launch Tour! And if that weren't great enough, after the Sea Launch tour is over I get to go home! At 3:30! I love life. And seeing as how I only have about another hour to kill before festivities commence my mood is becoming more and more jovial as we speak! I shall write tomorrow and update you on my wonderful day of fun when I have a lot more time to kill with doing nothing. For now though I am outie.
