I just finished listening to the first season of Heaven by Mur Lafferty. Very, very good podiobook.
The story is about two friends who have died. It's a bit light on the mythology, but has some fun ideas, worthwhile philosophy, enjoyable characters, and the plot keeps moving.
If you're looking for a smart, fun adventure story and the idea of it taking place in the afterlife and containing a modicum of blasphemy, I'd recommend that you check it out.
