I know it's been a long time, so... I don't suppose there will ever be any kind of pinch-hitting arrangement to compensate people who never got their promised items?

Nearly a year later, I've received nothing from ALL THREE of the bids I won. (One fic, two fanart.) I'm still somewhat hopeful of getting a finished product from one artist, who did reply after my last round of inquiries to the offerers--but the other two didn't even respond at all to my last messages to them.

This has seriously deterred me from bidding in subsequent charity auctions on LJ.

This artist did send me a *very* rough outline sketch of the piece she planned to do, but that was months ago, and she never responded to my last message.

Again, this writer did not reply to my last message.

(At the moment I won't include the third auction I won, since the artist has replied faithfully to my messages, even though I haven't received a finished product yet.)
