lasic question

I just got back from an appointment at Clearly Lasic in Vancouver, Wa. I'm thinking of having the procedure done. Since I've had to change to wearing bifocals, the recomended route is to have only one eye, the dominant eye, fixed. My left eye sees close up just fine, and the contacts I wear now correct the right for distance and the left for closer up. They also have a bifocal in the left so I have some distance vision with both contacts. Anyway, the test is going to be trying wearing just the right contact for a week to see if that is an acceptable correction for me, one I can live with, that will give me enough correction that I can do without the glasses and readers most of the time. Sounds good.
So on to the question at hand. Have you any experience with lasic in general or Clearly Lasic in specific? Positive? Negative? Other thoughts?
