One perfect moment

I went outside today, to free the dogs from their pen like I usually do around that time, about 14:30. When I started back toward the house I noticed out of the corner of my eye, the thing thats been there many summers and I've always ignored, our pool. I decided to stop by the pool and just to dangle my feet in and relax in the sunshine. This was a perfect moment, bird were singing, insects buzzing about, a light breeze, the warmth of the sun, the coolness of the water. I had no worries of anything, I stopped thinking of my search for myself, an upcoming college enrollment and test, getting a job and all that everyday worry and just soaked up the moment. Eventually without really thinking about it, I just leaned forward and dove into the water, not even bothering with my clothes. Once I was in, I discarded my heavy, water laden shirt and pants leaving on, of course, my boxers since we do have neighbors. Then I sunned myself on the deck for awhile untill I came back inside with a new happy memory of a perfect moment.
