Thinking back to all three of my anthropology courses (which is my major) I have to ask this question...why again should I be putting charity money to the cause of saving animals like the great and other apes? Why should there even be that cause anyways? I understand stopping the hunting of them, that's just hunting regulations and as a fisherman

There's no reason you should, other than your own moral compass. My personal opinion is that it's our duty as human beings on this planet, as the most dominant species that has far surpassed the survival of the fittest. With that said, it puts us at such a huge advantage over every other species on this earth, it would be the humane thing to do what we can and at least preserve others the right to live. Hunting is retarded, why bother when all your food is factory farmed anyway, it's just excess waste.

This seems like bait, what is your evidence and cases?
