I know I said I wasn't going to use my journal to promote as much anymore but this is pretty much what I've been up to. So come hang out!

Dinner - Live Music and a Short Film
All FREE to You, All for a Cause
Thursday, April 20th starting at 6 pm

ACOUSTIC MUSICAL PERFORMANCES BY:
J. GUITARSTRING, A WEATHERED CHAIN, AND PATRICK KELLY!

MOVIE: What started out as a film-making adventure in
Africa, transformed into much more when the three
young Americans found themselves stranded in Northern
Uganda. They discovered children being kidnapped
nightly from their homes and subsequently forced to
become child soldiers. This film is dedicated to
exposing this tragic, and amazingly untold story.
Thousands of children “commute” out of fear, from
their villages to nearby towns each night in order to
avoid the LRA (Lord’s Resistance Army) abductions.
They sleep in public places, vulnerable, and without
supervision. We’re sorry, but this movie is not for
young viewers.

FOOD: We’re providing the majority of the food, but
bringing a dish to pass is neither discouraged or
encouraged. Don’t feel like bringing anything?
That’s cool. Enjoy dinner on us.
OUR MISSION FOR THIS EVENT: We just want you to come,
have a good time and learn about a situation that you
can help fix! We’re trying to spread the word about
this humanitarian trajedy and get people involved. NO
ALCOHOL

Location:
The Kotarski’s House
604 Chalmers St., in Flint
