5 THINGS
1)SPOTIFY IS OFFICIALLY THE GREATEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO MUSIC! It's like everyone in the world is sharing their itunes with you and you can take it anywhere!! AMAZING! Makes me not as pissed off about not having pandora here.
2)Boss HAAAATES ME, but LOVE that I was asked to write a book chapter about nocturnal lemurs!Including aye-ayes!! Probably highlight of my life
3)i miss madagascar like crazy...and unrelated...wtf is twitter?! I know I live in a jungle half the year...but still...twitter, jon and katie, heidi and spencer, jonas brothers...what the hell is all this shit???!! It's so weird the things that happen when I'm away.
4)THIS KASABIAN ALBUM IS SO EPIC!! Some of it seems so cheesy for such trash talking musicians, but I LOVE it. IT feels like I'm literally at woodstock, during the goldrush, in a back alley in old russia, eating candy floss at a cemetery. I don't know how they do it. I always raise the bar so high for them too. The second album...eh. First one...made me name them one of my favorite bands ever, this 3rd album (West ryder pauper lunatic asylum) solidified them as my faves. Plus, how can you hate a band that has Noel Fielding in a music video?! Tunes I like or that were unexpected are: Fire, Thick as Thieves, Underdog,Secret Alphabets, Ladies and Gentlemen. I might get sick of it soon...but not right now! mmmmmmmm
