People that say they are good at something obviously are. Why would they lie?
And showing off is always a good idea.
I love going to school with such talented, bright young men and women.
EDIT: Also, getting so mad about a video game that you break things around you and yell at your friends about it loud enough to be heard by another adjacent suite is just about the most reasonable thing I can think of.
