I was thinking today about the word beautiful and how we use it to classify God as beautiful. At first I couldn't imagine how, with having no earthly body, we can call God beautiful... Think of it as when you tell someone of the opposite sex their beautiful; it means so much more than pretty, handsome, hot, good looking, etc. Beauty expresses a person's mind and soul as well as their heart and persona.
God encompasses everything that is beautiful:Love,compassion,humbleness,forgiving,trustful,thoughtful,kind,caring the list goes on. The word beautiful means full of beauty, to which I know there is not one thing man can find here on earth which is more beautiful than God. I can now sing of God's beauty knowing fully that I am singing to my God and the beauty he's shown me through him.
