What a weekend...what a weekend. Friday, I pretty much just hung around at my dad's house, chilling on the computer and writing some lyrics (inspired? yes). Saturday, I did the usual uncle driving, but with an added twist...I picked up an extra passenger in between stops ;-)...Brandi met me up at Genesee Valley, and we hung out at my dad's for most of the evening. We played a little Grand Theft Auto, and rented a couple movies; The Notebook and House of Wax (how priceless it was to watch Paris Hilton impaled through the head in the presence of great company, hehe). But aside from the movies, I had a great time. We talked quite a bit, having good conversation as always. Eventually however, we both started to get tired, so we left my dad's around 12 and I dropped her off around 1.
Well when I got home, my bed was TAKEN!! Ah, foiled again. But oh well, it was my lil sis Cassie...she came down the stairs right as I was going up and scared the crap out of me!!! Hehehe...but all was quickly forgiven, and we stayed up talking til about 4, and then went to sleep.
Sunday, Cassie came to church with us, and we had a pretty good day there...then Kyle and I went to Grandma Sadler's for lunch. She is always good for some nice conversation, and respectable advice. After some green jello and whipped cream, we went to Rick's hockey game. It was another fun one, they didn't come close to winning, but their energy is unmatchable. After that, I came home and chilled.
Monday, I hung around dad's house and taped a few soaps. Then around five, Kyle and I headed out to Owosso-town-place to make some shirts for our debut performance with "The Mourning After." While we were there, in the midst of a GREAT time, we got some bad news...being that our show was cancelled. It was a downer, but we finished up the shirts anyway, and I ended up driving home around midnight.
Well, Tuesday we met with Phill at the church, and went through the set list. Phill said he'd be glad to play with us anytime, which was very cool of him. So we did all the jamming, and messing around, and I picked up my uncle around five. Then I got another mail...and it turns out the show is BACK ON!!! YAY!!! Now I'm just waiting for the evening...I'm about to go to the store for my dad.
Catch you all later!
