Merry Christmas yesterday everyone! I had a wonderful day. This was the first year my family did not even try to be organized (because we always fail) and ironically it was also the first year that everything seemed organized. I slept in (for Christmas), woke up around 8 and went to the store to pick up some pictures, cinnamon rolls, sausage, and eggs. Then I came home and about the time I completed wrapping my presents, my bros and dad showed up. We ate breakfast BEFORE we opened presents, which we've never done before, and it was delicious. I must say, I got a good haul. A stereo, longboard, cell phone (mine broke a few days ago), snowboard carrying bag, a few books, the rent soundtrack, snowboarding video, a sweatshirt and a tshirt, socks, and a very nice bible and cover. Oh, and my dad is sending my brothers and i to Corvette racing school for our present. Talk about scary. Kyle gave me the prettiest scarf EVER and REALLY nice smelling lotion. I'm wearing both the lotion and scarf at this very moment! :)
On Tuesday I'm exchanging presents with Katie, Kel, and Kels.
It sounds like I got a lot of stuff, which I did, but you have to understand the amount of people I got it from... 2 parents (seperate), 3 siblings, Kyle, my grandparents, aunts and uncles, and 4 cousins that are my age.
At my grandma's house we had the most tasty meal ever and my cousins and i discussed our newest plot to get rich. Steal the internet. Everyone will want it back, and then they'll pay us. Hahaha, or an even more genius idea was "We should start a small family farm and grow corn and then we'll be rich. Corn will be the monetary system someday because it is gold." We always have funny discussions, but they are really much more intelligent than they sound. This Christmas we welcomed two new cousins to the family. Patrick, who is marrying Janelle on June 24 and Whitney, who is marrying Daniel on Wednesday.
So anyway, Sara, Michael, and I went on a walk for like 45 minutes and talked about life in general. After dinner we shot each other with the nerf guns my bros got and watched a football game. I think it was the bears v. green bay but i didn't really know or care. Man though, I love my family.
To finish a perfect Christmas I went to Kyle's house and stayed for family home evening. He gave me his present WHICH I ABSOLUTELY LOVED but I didn't give him his, because I don't want him opening it in front of his parents. I'm like a little kid, even the box Kyle put my present in fascinated me. I LOVE THAT BOY!!
Okay, I have to pack to go to my dad's house. I hope Kyle isn't arguing with his mom:)
Te quiero mi amor.
