Jon Foreman

Did I mention that I really like Jon Foreman of Switchfoot?  I got really close to him at the concert when he came and stood on that half-wall thing that is at the back of the floor at the Ramada, which was where I was standing.  At this time the band started to play the song "The Shaddow Proves the Sunshine", off of the album "Nothing is Sound", which is probably my favorite song off of that album.  I touched Jon's leg..(I KNOW, such a lame girl-who's-in-love-with-a-rockstar move..but I figured I couldn't be that close to Jon and not touch him.  Later he shook my hand.  I told him that I loved the song).  I don't care if you don't like Switchfoot.  I think that Jon Foreman is a very good song writer.  Their music provokes me to "live for so much more".  The concert was exhillerating and inspiring.  They played for a full two hours without taking a break.  Something that really struck me was when he was standing on the wall singing, he made an effort to look as many people right in the eye as he could.  We are connected.

This is Copeland, sorry the picture sucks.  They played well as well.
