DAYLIGHT
kai/luhan PG-13? lol i suck at this
The sky was dark. The moon and the beautiful stars that twinkling in the sky are the only one that serves as the light of the whole city, the cold gush of the wind reminds us that winter is coming.
The guy, who's still wide-awake in the middle of the night tightened his grip on his blanket and brings it up to his shoulders. He shivers. He's going to leave tomorrow.
Why does time fly so fast? If only he can stop the time and spend it to the most special person in the world, his world....
His Luhan hyung.
He groans. One week is not enough. He sighs.

It's been 5 months since he last saw him because his group needs to promote in Korea while his Luhan hyung's group needs to promote in China. Those 5 months were all been sleepless nights, endless calls, expensive phone bills, postponed rehearsals and choreographer's yelling at him. His group members just shook their heads, while him, just smiled at them like there's nothing wrong.
It's all worth it for him.
When their management told them that they will stay in China for one week for some group promotion, he is so giddy that he really jumped out off his chair.
"Really?" he exclaimed. You can catch the joy on his eyes, you can detect that happy/excitement tone in his voice. Amused on his best friend's reaction, Sehun grabbed Jongin’s shoulders and said, "Calm down Jongin. Calm down." earning a laugh from the other group members.
Jongin blinked his eyes, realizing what he’d done; he apologized to their manager and sat back on his chair, forcing himself not to smile widely.

"Hey, hey, relax. You're going to see him okay?" Sehun said, rolling his eyes when suddenly a black van stopped in front of them. Jongin's biting his lip for him to stop smiling like an idiot because he doesn't want to see a fanphoto that shows all his feelings on this day (because luhan will probably look for it in the internet and laughed at him and of course, tease him.) He doesn't want his not-cool side to be seen by his fans......... well, he doesn't care to be honest, but luhan cares so.....
The van’s door was opened, revealing the Exo-M members, waving and welcoming them. Wufan, Zitao, Jongdae, Minseok, Yixing....
"Wait, where's Luhan?" he thought but it's too late, he unconsciously blurted it out.
The 5 exo members laughed when a golden brown haired guy suddenly comes into view, smiling widely, making his eyes disappear.
"Where's the hyung, Jongin-ah?" Luhan asked, jokingly.
Jongin smiled, relieved. He shook his head as he grabbed his small black bag and immediately went inside the van leaving all the guys with amused faces. Jongin sat beside Luhan, who's sitting in the rearmost part of the van.
Jongin unzipped his bag and took a couple jackets that he bought in Korea; one's a black jacket with Jongin’s name beautifully sewn on it, while the other one is white jacket with Luhan's name on it.
"I sewed it myself." he proudly said as Luhan smiled.
That smile he loves the most.

Jongin stood up. He took his jacket with his name on it that he bought in korea, his phone and went outside. He’s going to leave soon and he doesn’t want to sleep without seeing or talking to his hyung.
It’ll be another 5 months, maybe less but still. He’s going to miss him and staying up late without doing anything is so not him. ‘And that’s very stupid.’
"Time is precious, must not waste it."

Jongin knocked on the door. Once, twice, thrice, then someone opened it.
Luhan yawns, rubbing his eyes like a small kid which Jongin finds cute. He chuckled.
"Sorry for disturbing you, but I can't sleep."
"Un................." Luhan answered sleepily, eyes still closed.
"You're going to open your eyes in 3-2-1." Jongin said as he leaned forward and gently blew Luhan's eyes, making the older boy shivers and rubbed his eyes.
Luhan groans.
"Go inside and put a jacket on. I'll be waiting here." Luhan pouted.
"Come on." Jongin said as he held Luhan's shoulders, turn him around and gently pushed him inside his room, then closed the door.
After 10 minutes, Luhan went outside wearing the jacket that Jongin bought for him.
"Where are we going?" Luhan asked, yawning but Jongin just shrugged his hand slipped into Luhan’s, their fingers entwined instinctively.
"I just want to spend some time with you before I leave. In any place our feet can take us?" Luhan smiled and rest his head on Kai's shoulder.
They walked together, until they spotted a big tree that has a bench under it.
They both sat on the chair. Silence engulfs the two. They're just holding each other's hands and look at the stars above.
"You're leaving tomorrow right?" Jongin nodded. Luhan sighed. "I'm going to miss you, Jongin."
"Me too." he said as he hugged Luhan very tight. 'I don't want this to end. If only we can stay like this forever.'
Jongin kissed Luhan's forehead. "Sleep now if you want. I just want to see you sleep under this beautiful night before I leave."
Luhan smiled. "Ok. Good night." he said, yawning and he was about to rest his head on Jongin's chest when Jongin cupped his face.
"Where's my good night kiss?" Luhan chuckled and mouthed a ‘Silly.’ to him. Jongin leaned forward and kissed him on the lips.
"I am surely going to miss this." Jongin said, as he chuckled. "Sleep now." he added, kissing the crown of Luhan's head.
Luhan closed his eyes and Jongin saw a glimpse of light.

Back aching, Luhan groaned and stood up. He studied his surroundings. No stars, no tree, no bench............ no Jongin. He's in his room, not in the big tree with a bench under it with Jongin.
He looked for his phone and found it on the table and under it is a letter. The hand writing is somewhat familiar.
Luhan hyung,
Holding you close and seeing you falling asleep while the sun is setting in the sky is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Another 5 months or less, but no matter how long or short it was, always remember that I'll always miss you. Take care and I love you. Very much.
