Chapter 2
Yamada's POV
I really didin't expect this. I'm not that confident about my schedule today, I think I'll skip the celebration. Why? Why am I an idiot to forget the way here to the exam building? Ahh! Now what? My sister will hag me about being clumsy and irresponsible. Tsk.
Starting on September, work is all that's in my 'to-do list' and I'm pretty sure it'll be a boring, school-less year. Maybe I should take a break and just lay low for a while. I mean, clearing my mind is important ne?
End of POV
"I think I should go first, ja'ne!" Yamada bid his friends goodbye as he ran towards the exit.
"Souka... Take care!" Erin waved goodbye. The other's did the same.
Yamada's POV
*sigh* Today's a little depressing. First, missing the exam, now I'm walking towards my mom's house. I didn't visit this house since I turned 16. Work and school’s too busy. I realized that I'm being selfish for not even visiting my mom.
"Yamada-bochama, itarashai." Kurasagi-san greeted me. He's been our butler since we first moved here.
"Tadaima." I greeted back. I bowed in sign of recognition and decided to go to my old room.
END of POV
The young lad with auburn hair scanned his room with his coffee hue orbs. He reminisced the memories of his childhood, how he started to discover things all on his own. How he completed his solar surfer when he was 8. How lonely it was to play alone in a sandbox with just a pale and a simple trowel.
"What a waste." he heaved a sigh as he looked out the window overlooking at his blue rose garden.

With Yabu and Kei
After Yamada went off, the other's also got themselves out of the university gate. They decided to fulfill their afternoon duties while Kei and Yabu decided to stay. They needed to discuss some important things.
"Oi, what's the standing so far?" Yabu asked calmly.
"You're -counting- 6 points behind! Congratulations Yabu!" he said as he cheered, "Banzai! Banzai!"
Kei's POV
"What?!! Give me that!" he snatched my notebook again. Well, I can't blame him but his overreacting again.
"So?" I like teasing him. His like a baby without his bottle of milk.
"Come one Kei-chan! Have you forgotten our tri----" here we go again. If only he knew Erin-chan and Dai-chan has no ROMANTIC FEELING for each other. It's pure brotherly. *sigh* It's his fault not listening, I told him every single time he nags about Daiki 'flirting' with Erin that his just being nice. But stubborn as he is, he'll ignore me. Imagine, someone calling you in the middle of the night, ruining your almost happy dreams and the only thing he'll tell you is 'I'm so happy! I can't sleep! Did you see the look on Daiki's face? Haa!!' when all Dai-chan would do is smile. *sigh* Yabu is really childish. He even asked me to be his 'personal scorer'. I can't say no to him.
"Okay! Give it back!" I snatched the notebook back and added some lines under his account.
"Ahh! This is just not fair! Why is that---that-- Daiki butting---" his pouting, Oh my Yabu. I cut him off before he can say anything bad about Dai-chan.
"Yabu, that Daiki is your bestfriend! Seriously?!" I wanted to lecture him, but hell! I know Yabu better than lecturing him.
"Oh, ok. So you're siding with Daiki now? Is that it? After all those years?!" *sigh* Why can't he just court her? That's right. I'll tell him that.
"I'm not siding with anyone, why don't you just COURT her?" I said, looking at Yabu. I nearly laughed at his expression.
"Wha--WHAT?!" Okay, so honestly, I knew he gets fidgety when we talk about courting. HAHAH!
"Nevermind" is the last thing I said before he hit me on the head with his sandwich.
End of POV
With Erin
A young girl walked along the streets of Tokyo, she stopped upon seeing a man in a Yukata.
"Hibari-san!" she called out.
"Erin-sama, konichiwa." the man called Hibari bowed low as Erin walked ahead.
"Ne, Hibari-san, let's have a match, right--" she drew her pocket edition wooden sword out of her cramped bag. "--here!" Hibari chuckled. It's unusual for his student to be this showy. He tried to think but Erin's already charging. He blocked it just in time with his own sword.
"Nice one, but you need more vigor to defeat me." he bemusedly commented. Erin stopped on her tracks.
"Vigor?" she thought as she took a deep breath and...
"I got it here!! HYAAAAH!" she smashed her sword on her teacher's sword.
Kyouya Hibari's eyes widened as the sword that's been in his care for 10 years is now cut in half.
"Ahhh! Gomenasai!" Erin rushed. Hibari just stood there.
"You pass. I must say, your improvement is impeccable." he said as he gathered the bits of wood.
"Thank you sensei!" Erin smiled unknown of the fact that she ruined a 10 year old sword. But to Hibari, the sword is just a mere tool. His proud now that his student learned 'vigor ' though it cost 400,000 yen.
Daiki’s POV
Poor Yama-chan. He’s so excited since the first time we heard about the board exams.
*sighs* Life is so cruel.
“Daiki Arioka? Someone tapped my shoulder. I looked back only to be greeted by a gun directed on my face. I didn’t scream or anything. I’ve been trained for this.
“What do you want?” I calmly asked as I prepared myself for the battle.
“You.” He simply answered.
He aimed for my leg but I’m too fast for him, it ended up ricocheting to his direction.
“What an idiot.” Well, his way of holding the gun shows his complete ignorance over projectile.
I didn’t bother checking if he was dead or alive.
My teacher taught me to never look back, so I did.
My life’s been miserable since Mom and Dad died, I went cold and hungry for revenge.
I’m thankful though, thankful that I met my friends. Without them I should be a lifeless robot now.
Well, I’m not surprised to meet those people along the way home. They appear, let’s see… twice a week? Yeah, twice a week. And they never stop coming to kill me. I just hope they’ll tire out soon. I can’t handle too much stress.
