Holy hell people. Long time no see.. Yep, Jimmy reminded me just now that Livejournal existed. So yeah, a lot of things have been going on in my life. First off, I'm back at home for the time being, yes I know, I should be out and about by now, but mom needs me home. Second, I have a new pup, she's a American Pit Bull.. I rescued her from a breeder who pretty much neglected her and the rest of the liter. She was the runt of the liter. Her name is Magic (yes my nerdiness comes out every now and then) I am also fostering a German Shepard Mix, she's 9 months old, and is looking for a new home.. Back to magic. I never thought I would have to deal with so much bullshit from people, just because she's a pit bull. I wish some people would just educate themselves on a breed before they open their mouths. Like the BSL - Breed specific legislation (or in my opinion Bull shit legislation). Come on people, it's not the breed, it's the people behind the dog that makes them like that. So now, Pits are getting banned from city to city, just for some heartless people who use them to make money for fighting. Pit bulls are the number 1 breed in America to suffer from some form of abuse or neglect, and here we are banning them. What ever happened to " Justice for all" or "innocent until proven guilty"? Apparently there is some fine print against pit bulls, dobermans, rottweilers, german shepards, and any other "aggressive" breed. Any dog can be aggressive, but you have to practically teach it to be aggressive. *sigh*
