I decided I couldn't write this in my first entry this morning, the "Happy Christmas!" entry because that would just be fucked up.
I can't believe this morning, I was told that 2 people I knew died. One, who I knew very closely ever since I was about 4, and the other one I didn't know at all.
Dammit, our Soul Godfather died of a phenuemonia in his hospital. That is certainly something I wasn't keen on hearing. Especially because I used to LOVE James Brown, how he died, and where he died, and the fact that he was in his 70's is upsetting. I hope you feel good in music heaven, man. Have fun with Jimi, and Brian, and John, and the other John, and Janis, and Jim, and Elvis, and George, and Keith, and all those other greats.
And dammit, Barbara. Why did you have to die too. I love you, and I'll miss you terribly.
