For most of the night Zach and I played with fireworks. Nothing big: mainly just things that go "pop" and small bottle rockets. When we throw these down sewers they make pretty big bangs. Somewhere along the way we went to Michael's house and met his cousins who were over for dinner. They were not the most welcoming group, but they were cool and not un-nice. Zach is gonna hurt himself one day. That kid is crazy. He'd light a large number of bottle rockets and toss them on the ground in front of him. Then they would go all over the place. He'd just be standing there in the middle of all that.
I do not get the thrill of standing in a crowd watching fireworks like most others do. I like to be in a quiet place when they're happening, preferrably on elevated ground, and with someone special or maybe some good friends.
Hopefully next year my parents would trust me enough for me to take a road trip. I have some places I would like to visit. One of them is Woburn, Massachusetts. I'd see John, Ryan, Andy, Jason, Dave, and maybe even Jimmy. Another is somewhere out west. Camping at Yellowstone would be awesome.
I like writing about ambitions in my journal. It would be interesting to read back and see how much they have changed. My teacher, Mr. Mcglade, of Years 5 and 6 of St. Nicholas Primary School of the good U.K. once said that one's own diary is a very fun thing to read. I'm going to start right now. Back to day one of livejournal. I hope it will keep these entries for some time to come.
