Busy, busy.

Today was a busy day, but I feel a bit accomplished.

First thing, I went out to the post office to gather packing supplies. On my way home, I stopped by the thrift store and picked up more yarn and fabric (because I really needed them >>; ) and managed to find a super-cute wooden chair and bench perfect for Pullip-sized dolls!

I ran home and packaged up the first pair of cels to be sold! It's probably been about 5-7 years since I last sold any. I printed out the shipping label online, which saved a bit of money - free delivery confirmation! Then I was back out to the post office to send the cels on to their new home. Hopefully the first of many. XD

While I was getting things ready, I received a surprise package! My Pipos kitties came back home! I was totally not expecting them yet. Pipos had originally told me they would send them back on Wednesday, but I hadn't heard anything from them since. Round Two of their box opening came after I returned from the post office. They look fantastic. I'm not sure if they actually repaired the fragment or replaced the entire piece; it looks flawless. The paint restoration looks perfect. They are so fantastic. X3 Squeee. It was cloudy out, but I still managed to fill my memory card with photographs of Lamia and the kitties. (Hoping to pic-spam tomorrow!)

Afterward, I did a roughly 50 gallon water change for the 72g tank. After figuring out all the things I'd done wrong in the past, it has finally cycled, but the nitrate level was excessively high. I may still need to do another change tomorrow morning, as the nitrates are still a touch high and the pH is lower than I'd like, but I'm hoping to move Benvolio and Tybalt into their new home tomorrow. :3

I wrapped up the night by scanning a few more cels. I've had a decent number of offers come in already. My Paypal balance is enough to cover 1/4 the purchase price of the Regen hybrid, and the current offers should easily account for the rest. As I go through the cels themselves -- when I updated NFS/FO tags on my site, I did so by looking at the gallery thumbnails -- I find I'm realizing there are more and more cels I could live without. It's going to take a lot of time and effort to get them moving, but I hope to make a real dent in the size of my cel collection by the time I'm through.

hell yeah, fishy-fishy-fishy, the chronicle of my impending demise
