Finny-cat

More on the Finny-cat, since he's just the coolest thing there is.

*ahem*

He's been very sedate since coming home, mostly just sleeping all the time. Every so often, though, he has been getting up. I was on wards duty last night (3pm 'til around 1am,) so he went into the hospital with me so I could give him his meds on time.

Last night I finally got Finn to eat a little on his own -- just a few bites, but a good start. He ate a little more this morning. He also made a noise -- a tiny, short noise, but a noise. He hadn't really said anything since Monday aside from strange post-ictal cries.

After he ate a little this morning, he went over and started sniffing and lightly biting a toy. He's interacting with the environment much more, really starting to look like himself again.

Also, as he's been seizure-free for over 24 hours now, we're weaning him off one of his meds. He's still on five now -- the antibiotic he'll stop when it runs out, but go back on antibiotics every few weeks for the rest of his life, to keep things under control.

The main anticonvulsant he's staying on...is scary expensive. ^^; It cost me like $50 for a two week supply... And he's going to stay on that for life, most likely. He's going to be a very expensive little kitty. XD
