Ok, so I'm listening to Transiberian Orchestra's "The Lost Christmas Eve" album straight through for the first time, and realizing that I would've known not to bother going to see them again if I had listened to it before. Sure, there are still a few songs on here reminiscent of their first album, but not really of Savatage anymore. They're catering to all of the non-prog-rock-loving, Christmas-celebrating people who seem to make up their fan base now. And that's fine... it definitely makes them money. It's just disappointing for me.
