So yes, it was a nice weekend, and I got home in only four hours, which is pretty awesome considering that it's a Sunday evening in the summer and I'm going in the same direction as everyone from the Cape and Hamptons going back home. I'm ready to go back to work. I had so much fun this weekend that a bit of a return to normalcy is needed.

I got my last few things from Glenn today: some coats I'd left in the closet. He packed them so carefully, in a huge box with newspaper padding and dryer sheets between them, that it just seems incongruous to everything else. Driving home tonight, I have to pass his exit off the highway, and I found myself wishing I could stop by his house, hang out for a few minutes, and leave. Or just go out for dinner with him, but then go back home afterward without him. It's so strange how I feel about it. I miss him as a person, but maybe not really as a boyfriend.

I have to get myself to complete my application for Seton Hall. I hate putting things like that together, though. But I should get it over with, rather than putting it off, even though they accept applications for the spring through October. Also, tomorrow I'm leaving work a bit early to stop by the community college here to complete my prerequisite waiver form for the intermediate Japanese class. They're also offering a comparative politics course that I think I might register for.
