i'm in the computer lab, my butt crack is showing and i don't care
so i had a lovely thanksgiving break! the first few days all i did was relax with katie. we watched movies, took nice long lavender baths, went for walks, made lots of food, and as always and nothing new had lots o' sweet lovin;)
thanksgiving eve we headed out to katie's parents and that night went to marcela's. katie got an over 21 bracelet even though she got checked for id so we both could drink which was nice. i had so much fun dancing in my i can't really dance kinda way and having my first beers in a while. on thanksgiving/katie's pre birthday we made an ass load of vegan yummy food: sweet potatoes with crunchy pecan and brown sugar topping, garlic dressing over green beans with crumbled fried tofu and bread crumbs, and the oh so wonderful tofurky roast... sweet motha fucken jesus!mmmmmm...... i think katie's fam enjoyed the food we made and blah, blah, a good time was had by all. i missed my family but we will be doing christmas with them which i am excited about (don't tell anyone..shhh...)
the next day, katie's 21st birthday, we went to a movie with her mom, sister and aunt which was relaxing and fun. then i took katie to "O" where we indulged in sushi and she had a nice strong martini beverage. our plan was to just go and have a few drinks and then head back to fredonia but we were having so much fun and the weather was so shitty i said, "lets stay out as long as we want, drink as much as we want and get a room!" and so we did, having a fabulous time. fuck money... IT WAS KATIE'S BIG 21! first we went to frizzy's because they have one of those old school photo booths and that's enough to get me anywhere. then we went to ms. kitty's, a new lesbo bar which is a groovy place in my book because we got to hang out with some old lesbos who were super friendly, funny and drunk. i'd go back there any day. there weren't a whole lot of people out because of the weather but we were still having fun. after that we went to roxy's because i guess we were just feeling that gay and then we went to our hotel room where we, as always, and nothing new, had some sweet lovin'... birthday lovin'... but anyway, the next day we got to wake up...and... ya know... and then after go to the co op and get a bagel and avocado to smear on it and brought it to spot to have with a nice coffee.
when it just felt like the birthday celebration was winding down we went back to fredonia to have a chill celebration at ebc and bj's with fredonia friends. a good time was had by all.
it was nice going out, just katie and i since we don't get to do that often and go to new places. it's so nice just realizing how much we enjoy each others company. it was also great that we got to go out with good buddies too especially since we haven't been doing the partying thing in a while...makes it more memorable and enjoyable.
so, now break is done and i'm back to work...which is fun too in an odd, i hate to admit it kinda way.
