Interesting Weekend so far
So this has been quite an interesting weekend so far...
Friday, I blew a driver in one of my monitor cabinets for the first time since graduating high school. To be fair, I think it was actually a capacitor on the crossover failing, sending LF to the horn driver.
Saturday, I discovered that my Gmail, Yahoo, and Livejournal accounts had been compromised. Looks like they got into the Yahoo account first, then used that to reset the password on Gmail, then got into that to reset the password on my Livejournal account. I was able to regain access. The only clue as to who did this was a draft created in the Yahoo account... "We are anonymous. We are Legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Expect us." repeated over and over. I suspect that the compromise wasn't intended to keep me out of my accounts.
Saturday night, I went and helped a drummer friend set up his compression for his drums, then went to the meet. Things have gotten very interesting at the meets. I don't really know what to think. Durango is down here in Jacksonville now. Cyberstorm has started coming to meets again. Feryl is becoming more active with the group again. While pondering all of these things, I suddenly find that I'm sitting around smoking hookah with Laphin. The old me would have been so uncomfortable. The "Redneck" upbringing says I should have beat on my chest and been all pissed off and ready to 'whoop his ass' because... Actually I don't know why, but you're not supposed to question it. Now, I'm just going with the flow and enjoying the easy socialization. :D I see good things in the future of the JaxFurs. There have been quite a few changes, and it seems the drama factories have all shut down.
