Momentus Weekend

Wow.  This weekend has been one for the record books.  Let's see...

Friday, I started communicating with Vitai Slade about a couple of things.  It started with discussing VooDoo and the dogs, but one thing lead to another.  Ultimately, I was invited to come out to his place for poker with some other furs.  Things went pretty smooth.  I learned one variant of the game, socialized, and generally had a good time.  Throughout the night, I learned a few things about myself, about Xander, and about people that I considered friends.  Funny how liars always get caught, isn't it?

Saturday, I had a water pipe break in the bathroom.  I worked on that until it was time to leave for the Jakt Up show.  Ultimately, I had to go without water throughout the night.  I went over to Chris's house to pick him up.  On our way to the gig site, I got rear ended by some drunk in a crossover SUV thing.  The damage was minimal and no equipment was damaged, so I decided to not fight with the insurance and police hassle.  I let her go without calling the cops and went on to the gig site.  We had some minor issues with the PA system and interference from the giant AC units going through the guitar pickups.  Still, the show went over with no problems, and was well received by the crowd.  Packed up from that and went to another bar to watch another band play.  Flirted a lot and ended up dirty dancing with a few girls.  Felt nice to be slutty for once.

Sunday truly was a day of rest.  I did go over to my parents' place for a bit, gave my Mom a planter.  Ended up talking about some of the things that have been going down.  Was rather surprised that it was met with an open mind of understanding for the most part.  At least they all know that it's not me trying to hurt them but me trying to heal myself.  Got back to the house and had a friend drop off her dog for me to watch while she's out of town.

Overall, a very productive weekend on the growth and development side of things.
