A step above casual.....

welp....bleh....haha...yeah...someone donated $100 to the help amber eat fund yesterday...that was pretty cool....someone else donated $15...also pretty cool...yep...so....I'm contemplating the meaning of "a step above casual" for reasons I'll keep private and not bore people with in this entry. as far as resturants go, I guess Applebee's is a step above casual...or Olive Garden...that's a better example...I like Olive Garden. The free breadsticks I got the last (and only) time I've went were spectacular. I would have to say that Italian food, in the food world, is a step above casual. And Italian food is my absolute favorite. In the flower world, I would say that the carnation is probably a step above casual without going overboard with something like the ever-overrated rose. Or maybe the daffodill...that's a step above casual. In the church world, I've grown to notice that the Catholic church is a step above casual...with a guitar, the awesome Les Paul is a step above casual, but not overboard, again. I suppose that I will settle and be happy being a step above casual...just take things as they come.

anywho, with some of that off my chest....what was I gonna say....man, I hate when that happens! oh, I'm going to audition for a spot as a dj at the campus station...I've always wanted to do something like that...it would be a lot better than my current job...that's for sure. I have to work from 4-8 am in the morning....that's gonna suck....a lot....the Foo Fighters rock....I'd like to go to a concert or something...oh yeah...I've had 4 people from back home ask me if I wanna go out when I get home. I always wanted to date two of them back when I lived in Indiana....honestly, I wouldn't touch any of them with a 10-foot pole anymore...I think I've found my new "yardstick"....the one who's going to set the standard for anyone who may or may not come after him (and man, I feel sorry for anyone who would want to date me if we break up....they don't stand a chance.) I need to work on a paper or do something with the semblence of being productive sometime soon.......

take care,
-Amber Grace
