Tired Boy!
Today was preeeety sweet. I love playing music, even if it's 90* outside, its still fun as hell. I really wish our band had more shows/gigs because they're the highlights of my year. Mugs shows are amazing and H2O should be a lot of fun the rest of the summer.
We played Swifty's graduation party today and it was tons of fun. It's always sweet to see Mrs. Willmann singing along with all of our originals and most covers. That is so cute.
This week needs to be creative week where we write more originals because I think we will get the album out by the end of summer! Unfortunately, none of our parents are musicians and we have no recording equipment in the basement of one of our members' houses, so we must resort to very expensive studio recording. Also, copyrights are a HUGE cost. Like $30.00/song. Maybe I'm off on that one too!
Everyone's working and trying to raise enough dough for this, but I think we'll be fine... I hope I can play it for my kids and make them think Dad's the coolest guy around.
Anyway, not much point to this update besides a status report. Thanks for everyone being sweet and I hope that you all are enjoying your summers. Never work at Subway, also. If anyone knows a good part-time job opportunity, I'd be very interested.
