Hi anyone reading this..............
there's a chance I may have to be in London for work purposes for four weeks from August to Sept. The only way i can do this is if I can find some cheap or free accommodation for that period. Anyone know anyone who can help me out?

Yeah I'm reading. I'm going to be going to the Edinburgh festival for a week sometime during that period, and you'd be welcome to use my room when I'm away, but obviously that won't cover the whole period that you're here. I'll ask around to see if anybody else is going away for longer or is likely to have a spare room available for that period.

Thanks a lot Sian! I appreciate it. Simon has kindly offered me a room in his house, so if I get the job I'll probably stay there. In any case if you're around it would be great to catch up.

Was going to suggest Simon but thought I'd mention it to him first. Just about the only person I know in London who has an official Spare Room. I'm glad you've found somewhere to stay, we should definately meet up some time.
