waiting...
At my parents, waiting while I download and update their security stuff for their computer. Then it's off to the cities for "linner" (lunch/dinner) with mom and some quick shopping before zooming home.
There are a few things that I've noticed that have changed about me more recently. Some are good changes, some are bad changes (gotta fix those :P), and some are... interesting.
I've always been fond of nicknames for people. Don't ask me why, it makes them seem more approachable I suppose. And the closer I am to you the more likely I am to come up with nicknames.
For example. Amanda absolutely denied me the right to call her Mandy... I can't blame her, I'm not overly fond of the name "mandy" either, at least for myself. (My cousin, Mandy, is good. I like her as Mandy :P) So, she's "Nermanda"; or "Nermander".
My mom is "ina" (Mother in Dakota)
My Aunt Cindy is "tante" (Aunt in French)
And my friends go by the random nicknames of: Hot stuff, sugar, and rockstar. These are new, I'm slowly adjusting to using sugar. I think I like it.
I'm sure more will come with time, but I'm just amused that as I become more comfortable with the me that I'm becoming that I keep coming out with new nicknames. It tickles me.
