So I dumped my heart out on Lj last night in a locked post. Yes, I know, I'm a tease. Deal.:)
I need to let ya'll know that I thank you, from the bottom of my heart for being supportive, and for missing both myself and the boyo :)
I feel a lot better today than I did yesterday. Not 100% fantastic, but better. :)
Things to note since the last time i officially posted on lj about my life: (You know how fond I am of lists)
To do:
(zomg, a to do list)
House
-Finish mulching
-mow lawn
-finish planting
-weed eat
-set up library
-finish office (yes! Here I have my very own space! Except for the critters)
Critters
-Cut toenails
-cut matt out of Valley's fur
-bathe valley
-clean fish tank
-empty and clean slick's cage (store)
Life
-Work harder on finding job. (need to print out app for Oakdale emergency clinic)
-Figure out how many credits left to graduate and finish tech degree
-Get hair cut
-get health insurance and go in for annual physical
Things of note:
(no, they're not always happy)
-Slick, my hairless rat that I took in after her mate died at school, died this weekend of old age. I buried her in the garden. She was a brilliant rat, never met one before that liked cats. She played with the cats every day. And she would come out and greet you whenever you passed her by in the kitchen. Brilliant little rat, and I miss her.
-Squeaker, my leapord gecko, died three weeks ago. She was 7 years old give or take a month or two. Not sure if it was the stress of everything and the strange weather we'd been having or what. I blame myself for her death, if I'd taken better care of her she'd still be around. Isabel, her companion, is still wandering around though, which is what boyo and my mother keep pointing out to me. :)
-Stormy, my mother's new puppy, is now almost 9months old and has decided to be an absolute terror and delight of my parents' lives. Getting her for my mom at Christmas was one of the best things we've ever done. I'm ecstatic.
-My asthma, for the most part, has been strangely under control. This makes me extremely happy since I haven't really been in control of it since I was 19.
-A lot of my tension's gone away with the move to the house. I spend time outside digging in the dirt. I've almost completely redone the front yard since April 21st. It still needs a lot of work, don't get me wrong, but it's soo much better than it was. It keeps me happy, and content.
-I've spent a lot of time this summer wandering with my mom and the dogs. It's been good stuff. It's fun watching Stormy grow up, and watching how Valley's reacting to a younger dog to look after. I also learned this spring that Val's in love with puppies. I don't know if we're quite ready for another one in our life, but I think she'd be happy if we did. :)

I'm working really hard to catch up to you all through livejournal. And i'm very sorry we missed convergence this year. I'm hoping you all will forgive me and come out here and let us entertain you for a few hours.
Also, on that note. Last year there was no mass canoeing trip down the St. Croix. This made me sad. If I try to schedule it and put it together, is there any interest in one say mid-august? Hrmmmm?
I've missed the lot of you.
Take care and chatter soon!
