Christmas!
Yay! Scott and the kids got me my favorite Doctor Who episode EVAR. Ghostlight with Sylvester McCoy and Ace. And they also got us season 6 of Stargate! Wootness! Then there's the new book on Cholera in England in 1854 (The Ghost Map: The story of London's Most Terrifying Epidemic-- and How it Changed Science, Cities, and the Modern World by Steven Johnson), a 2007 kitty calender, a T-shirt that says that "Sparrow is my Co-pirate" (Squee!) and Horsopoly. :)
I am a very happy very sore Jenny. For now, I shall fall asleep watching another girly flick waiting for the pain pills to kick in, then there shall be some reading, and perhaps some watching of movies with Scotty, and later maybe playing Horsopoly. My boyo and critters are teh BOMB.
My pride has taken a wee bit of a blow with this, and as long as I'm feeling better come Christmas I'm hoping that I can play down the whole just had surgery thing. I know I'm not perfect, but I hate being an invalid. Although right now sleep sounds Beautiful, Even Valley thinks so.
