Oy is right. It is a very touchy subject. It's a very subjective subject. But it is also a subject where each person has to decide for themselves where they are comfortable.
The training I have in science and human anatomy tells me where I am comfortable with abortion and at what point I am not. However, the same training can speak differently to someone else, or even make no sense to others.
Would I have an abortion? I honestly don't know, and I plan on being smart enough in the long run that I hope I never have to seriously consider the act.
But the fact remains that the choice of what to do with myself should remain my own.
If you choose to have an opinion about abortion that is your right. However, taking that opinion and attempting to push it on a woman isn't right. And since you're not the type to do that I don't think you should ever be considered a woman hater.
You're one of the farthest things from that :P
I guess my biggest issue with the whole debate is that people don't want to leave the responsibility of making a good decision up to the women involved. Because what it comes down to is that people don't believe that others can make "proper" and "right" decisions.
That's what irks me and pisses me off. If you (in general) believe that people aren't prepared to make the right decision then support education of all the choices so that they can. Don't ban something.
