Blah.

Work last night was, well, hard. Not in the way that the customers were difficult or the people I work with were bad but in the way that the air conditioner was still not up to snuff and we got slammed at about 6pm. Increasing the bodies means increasing the heat and the speed at which you have to serve someone.

I'm finally back in my groove though. I had absolutely no complaints even though I got sat four times in a row repeatedly all night long. I was in the bar, which I actually prefer-especially on busy nights. The pizza cooks brought out the wrong pizza with the wrong ticket so one of my tables ended up waiting for yet another pizza but we gave them free desert and a free after dinner drink. :) They left me the leftover (untouched) pizza for dinner. That was so nice of them.

I was starving at the end of the night and completely dehydrated with the throbbing headache that comes with it. I still have the headache even though for the past 3 days all I've been drinking is water, water, water. That should tell you exactly how bad it was last night.

I'm in a fairly good mood though even though I'm so out of it. I slept like a log and would have kept sleeping except I had to come to work this morning. Blegh. Slow day at the office so far.

Dreamed about LARP last night. Everyone decided that it was time to Kill off Adara and I was cool with this. Except that it had to be done my way. I was put in the center of this "stadium" with the rest of the LARP members behind me in the bleachers. I was to be "made an example of". Jesse was there as the Brujah archon and Nate was there as Lance.

I kept yelling at Drachensmeid to stay away from me, then some damn cronie decide to take a swipe at me. I avoided it and struck back. My conditions for dying were that I would not go out quietly. (The whole thing was like game except take out the challenges and put in quick movie-like sequences where the challenges would be. You know as if the challenges had already happened.) Of course, everything broke down then. They had to figure a way of doing this so that it wouldn't turn into a huge melee and I just laughed.

The dream went on from there but we never did actually get back into character. Oh well.

I'm going to quit talking now.

bye.

dreams, work
