Another day at the bio dept.
So today I woke up and my throat was so sore I could hardly swallow. My eyes feel like they're burning in my eyesockets and my head just feels like it's full of clouds. To top it off I have to work at both of my jobs today. Blegh. I'm sure I'll end up closing tonight at the Green Mill and it will be just yucky. Aw well.
I managed to get something productive done today in the Biology office. I put up new backgrounds for two of the three boards I was supposed to redecorate. I think they look cool. Although the one with all the phone numbers and passwords on it is going to have to get some retyping done. The little pieces of paper all over the place are annoying me. I like organization damn it.
I've only had three phone calls today so far which is a blessing in disguise. It hurts to talk. I think it's only my sinus' draining but I hope that it doesn't become a full fledged sinus infection. I don't want to have the time for one of them right now.
This is funny. I don't even feel like this is a job. You know? I feel like the job I really work at I haven't been so far (2 days) because they screwed up my schedule but that's okay. Really. I like having a job that's not a job. So I answer the phone and I putz around the office. Later this week or next week Jodie says I can help her in the labs a little bit. heh. That'll be fun.
I'll get to play with the autoclave! Whoohoo...
