Funny that from my last entry here, I felt that things were going in a way, unexpectedly, but great!
I have been on hiatus from the corporate world, but I will be going back soon. This time, to a Japanese company. I know it's going to be a challenge to do so but I'm all up for it. Better pay, better benefits...why not right?
It's good too that I found a good language school that provides really flexible schedules to their students. I can take my MANDARIN lessons on Saturdays or if I can get out of work early on weekdays, I may decide to go straight to school too. So yeah that basically answers my last entry's questions. I got the break that I needed, and I got a good job offer soonafter my resignation. Also, I decided to take up Mandarin instead of Nihonggo lessons, but I'll be working for a Japanese company? I decided to go for the Mandarin one, even before I got the job offer and I didn't want to change my decision anymore.
In the long run, I'd probably benefit more from Mandarin since I AM CHINESE, and it's like the 2nd most spoken language anyways so yeah, I'm thinking longer term wise. Damn, I'd be super satisfied if I can at least sing an entire Jay Chou song out of memory and not have to read the lyrics each time. I heart the possibility that I can speak to my genuine Chinese uncles/aunties too, without needing my dad to be on stand-by always to act as my interpreter.
Yes I won't be able to join my friends in Europe as it's coinciding with my trip to Indonesia and I absolutely can't cancel on that one or else be doomed to forever be ostracized by my parents. I felt bad at first but then God has other plans I guess. I wouldn't be able to accept that job offer had I said yes to the Europe trip. Besides, I can use the money to ask the BFFs to buy me something from Paris instead. Haha.
Everything's really falling into place...and I'm hopeful that things in my life will just continue to get better still.
