Finally an update.
Oh my god you GUYS I finally got a pass YAY!
Okay so here's what happened. I got my RTD on Monday like I said right and then I DIDN'T PASS MY RUN. WTF GUINDO WTF. So, DS Myles didn't let me go on pass for being a PT failure. UGH. Which sucked because I wanted to get my hairs cut and check up on my student loan fiasco and everything and then ugh just ugh.
NEXT Tuesday (we take the APFTs on Tuesdays, with all the little reception privates doing their 1/1/1 assessments), I took it again and failed AGAIN. I HATE RUNNING IT CAN FREAKING BITE ME. (But I did 31 push-ups, which is 81%, go me =D)
BUT DS Cruz was on duty this Saturday so unless you REALLY fucked up somehow, you got a pass. Yay! I got my hairs cut, I feel so much more awesome and spiffykeen now. Whoo!
And yeah.
So I take it again on Tuesday. We got a new platoon sgt, DS Harris, who's really structured and strict, but he's a good guy. He like, trusts us a little more, the extra structuring earns us a few more privileges (like more phone time, which Peter can attest to >_>). And uh, yeah, when DS Myles made some huge deal out of me needing to check my e-mail to check up on my student loan shit, DS Harris just went "o ok" and let me use the one in his office, which took about ten seconds. I mean, christ, DS Myles, the heck.
I totally forgot the point of what I mentioned DS Harris for. He's started taking the RTD privates out for morning PT, and it's like so much more beneficial than the PT we do with Sgt J at the gym.
I finished the 6th Potter book this morning and it was very depressing and I want to kill myself now.
Also, Riviera is an awesome game, full of niftinesses. Except the max item count is too low and makes me cry because I have to throw away all my cool stuff that isn't weaponry (because you know weapons are important).
My plan is to pass on Tuesday, thanks to DS Harris's extra PT, and get shipped out of here to Arizona by the 16th, so I can be in the class on the 18th with Pvt Arnold. That class is like, 2 weeks after exodus is when it graduates, right, so they said they're gonna try to speed it up and graduate it early on December 15th, the day before exodus starts, so we don't have to waste time and money coming back from exodus for two weeks. Hooah. So that's the plan.
And uh... Yeah. That's about all I got. Mom's still mad at me, I'm still awesome, aaaand...your face. Oh. What.
