My Grandfather passed away this morning. It was quick, but it was also painful. In the end his body was only a shell of the man we knew.
After we said our goodbyes, my grandmother handed me his watch.
A man who provided for his family, he left me with one final gift: Time. Time to reflect, time to create, time to live.
I have written for many people in my short political career, and now I am to give the hardest speech of my life. I am to eulogize a man to friends, family, and strangers alike. I must accuratley describe a man to a crowd who loved him, to make him personal to everyone. How to portray the man I simply knew as grandpa.
