Neutering and Pairing - help?

Hey guys. I’m in a bit of a pickle and need your advice. As you may know, I am the proud owner of Twouble, Weetzie, and her new babies. I am a NEWB cavy owner, but I’ve been doing my homework and learning from this community. When I realized that Weetzie was pregnant, I must confess, my original plan was to sell the babies back to the pet store that I got their mom from. However, I no longer like that idea at all. Lord knows where those babies could end up. I also had a few people interested in adopting from me, but they have all shied away since the babies have been born (go figure).

So I am about 99% sure I’m just going to keep all 4 piggies. I am redesigning my original C&C cage blueprint to accommodate this. I plan to neuter the boar (duh). HOWEVER, he needs to be 4 months old before he can be neutered, and he will be separated from my sows at the age of 3 weeks.

Problem: Due to the designated area of my C&C cage and limited space around it, I have nowhere to place the boar’s cage in the same room, which will result in him being utterly alone for nearly 4 months (counting recovery from neuter). ME NO LIKEY.

Should I just make him deal with it? I could give him plenty of human companionship, sure, but that’s not the same. I couldn’t imagine being separated from my family like that… he will be so stressed and depressed. Another idea I had - adopting an older, already neutered male to be his roomie, then reintroducing the both of them to my sows. But I hear that sometimes males don’t like to share a group of sows, neutered or not.

What do I do? I wanna make all my piggies happy. =(

EDIT: I want to keep ALL the pigs together. I don't really want to just add another boar and have 2 separate groups, that would be my LAST option.
