Video proof that Cashew came out of his x-ray alive, if a bit skinny. The x-ray showed no signs of stones so they sent a sample of urine for urinalysis. If the urinalysis doesn't show anything (What we're after, for those unfamilar with UTI's (Urine Tract Infection) is to find which bacteria is causing the infection and subsequently which antibiotic that particular infection is sensitive so we can use that antibiotic.)
If the urinalysis doesn't show anything then it's possible that something else is causing him to squeal whenever he goes to the toilet, in which case, I suspect that I might have to use the same vet used by
thalestral and Thistle Cavies rescue, or to at least put out a request for assistance. Fingers crossed that we get to the bottom of this soon!
