I am lucky enough to have a mill/feed store across the street from me that sells hay by the bale, and allows us guinea pig owners to fill a bag of hay with whatever we can scrounge off the ground or inconspicuously out of the sides of bales. I was running low so I headed over today and loaded up. The first thing I did when I got home was put a pile in each cage, and

Chazz loved it so much he couldn't wait to surround himself by it. I think he's fallen asleep there, because his white bum is still sticking out! Oreo waits until I don't have a camera in my hand :)

I just gave the kids their second round of ivermectin on the weekend, and I think I'll give them one more round just to be sure. They are a lot more calm about being around me- it's really nice to see. You might notice the bedding is of the disposable variety- this is just temporary because it's easier to change frequently during mite treatment. Soon they'll be back on fleece!
