That's where I'm living now. I was born and raised in Germany, of course. America is a beautiful country, but it's people turn toward murder far too often. Which is why I'm practicing law there during the day.

Aren't you lucky! My school never had uniforms; I made it a point to break the dress code as much as possible, though--it was really boring. [ Wow, that feels like it was a long time ago. ] If I had been expecting to be dragged forcibly down to the ocean floor, however, I would have dressed down during my concert beforehand.

I'm hardly the first--to be honest, I was competing with my brother. He's a defense attorney. But there's a Fräulein here who happens to carry a whip by the name of Franziska von Karma... she started at age thirteen.

[ ... That reminds him. She was fairly violent last time they spoke, wasn't she? ] Actually, she's not very happy to have been abducted--you'd best watch what you say around her. I wouldn't want her whip to bite you, it has a mind of it's own.

[ As was semi-apparent by the look of his other hand, he'd been blocking said whip from hitting his face, gnnnrk. His poor hands. There's a chuckle. ] Come to think of it, I suppose I should have warned more people. ... Well, they'll learn one way or another, ja?

I wouldn't point it out if I were you. In fact, you'd be better off walking on eggshells around Fräulein von Karma. ... Just don't tell her I said that. ... I'd like to stay on her good side.

[ Because he wants to DATE her, you see. She's adorable. He chuckles. ] ... If I'm honest, she isn't exactly happy with me right now. Then again, it's rare she's happy with anyone... unless she's crushing them in court.

Thankfully, we're both prosecutors. [ Klavier, that doesn't exactly sound normal to most people, you realize. ... Oh, well. It was well-known stuff in his country, at least...? ]
