guitar, slung over his shoulder, is plugged into a small amp sitting near his bed. He sighs quietly, tapping away on the body of the instrument. ]

If you're looking for inspiration, just observe the people around you. It doesn't have to be all serious or doom and gloom or about being a prosecutor or whatever it is. Just let your heart take over for a little and you'll come up with something. Forget the trivial crap and have fun.
You sound like you're trying to rope all of us musicians in the same room! [There's a grin under that hood, though.]
