Important update: I have at last resumed smoking, a decision I am sure I will not fully appreciate until the afterlife.
Second update: I have been awake now for twenty-seven hours. I have had no reason to be awake, at all, during this time. I don't know what to make of it, but a mathematician or man of science would probably recognize it as proof that I am, indeed, at the center of an infinite universe.
