IC Information:
Name: Justin Law
Fandom: Soul Eater (Manga)
Timeline: Post chapter 69
Age: 17
Appearance: Short, messy blond hair, blue eyes (which apparently have no pupil THIS IS SOUL EATER PUPILS IN YOUR EYES ARE FOR DWEEBS), average height (shorter than Spirit or Stein, taller than Yumi). Usually wears priest's robes decorated with crosses (or more recently, kishin eyes). Wears a crucifix with a skull on it around his neck (replaced with a kishin eye pendant). Has earbuds in his ears constantly, which blast music loudly enough to drown out any outside noise.
Really awkwardly-drawn official(?) pic of him
Beating up that one idiot chainsaw Note the carcan claw.
Also beating up that chainsaw (and apparently Chrona as well whut) Note the cool shiny pattern and the guillotine blade.

Abilities: Justin is a Weapon, a guillotine to be precise. He’s also a Death Scythe, which is pretty much the highest power/position ranking there is.
He does have a full weapon form, but has only used it during an Insanity Fusion with the Clown.

- He can grow a guillotine blade from his right forearm, and transform his left forearm into the headlock of a guillotine.
- Can increase the power of his soul wavelength (and thus, attacks that use that energy) by praying.
- Has two soul wavelength attacks, Law Abiding Silver Gun, and Law Abiding Radiant Gun - Both involve channeling his wavelength through the blade on his right arm. Law Abiding Silver Gun immobilizes his opponent, while he jumps into the air and unleashes the attack, conducting a beheading. He has to first increase the power of his soul, making this a time-consuming and “flashy” attack. Law Abiding Radiant Gun is less powerful, but does not require either the prayer or the leap, and unleashes a blast with a wide radius as opposed to the direct beam of the Silver Gun.
- Soul Perception (not stated, but it’s a pretty fair assumption)
- Lip reading
- Does not fight with a meister
- Skilled with melee fighting, using the guillotine headlock to keep an opponent in close quarters
- Note: Justin’s usual fighting transformation is his partial i.e. 50% transformation. I’m not sure how this would be affected by the power nerfing.

Personality: Whether it’s his headphones constantly blasting music at a loud enough volume to be heard by everyone in the room, his habit of shouting everything he says, or just his holier-than-thou attitude, this youngest Death Scythe manages to annoy nearly everyone he comes in contact with. At least he isn’t a deceptive, conniving, murderous, betraying, sadistic, misogynistic, lying priest of the Kishin. Wait… Well, at least he isn’t totally insane and talks to a clown that might only exist in his head. Wait… Yeah, I got nothing good to say about him. Man, Justin’s just kind of that one guy you don’t want to be in the room with, but don’t want to tell him to leave because he might just take it personally and murder you. While smirking.

However, in Facility, he’s not going to be exposed to the insanity wavelength, and doesn’t have a Clown possibly living in his head (this section would make much more sense if it came after the history). Because of this, while he is still holier-than-thou, snarky, condescending, and more than a bit annoying, he’s not quite so twisted and deceptive and utterly insane. Oh, he’s got doubts about if following Shinigami is the right thing, and things he though about and decided on while insane are still going to have lasting psychological affects, but he’s going to try to at least apologize for standing there and smirking as Death the Kid was brutally beaten.

History:
Basic premise of Soul Eater: child assassins hunt down soul eating monsters, witches, and demon gods of insanity, all while working for/attending school under the god of death. In order to attend said school of death, you have to either be able to transform into a weapon, or use one of those weapons. The ultimate goal of a weapon is to eat 99 pre-demon-god-souls and 1 witch soul, thus becoming a Death Scythe and working directly for said god of death.

Justin Law is one of those Death Scythes, having achieved the position at the age of 13. As Death Scythe in charge of Europe, he spent most of his time away from Death City, but returned after the Kishin (a demon god of insanity that had been locked up underneath the city) escaped and Shinigami summoned all the Death Scythes back to Death City.

Then Maka, Soul, and Chrona and Ragnarok went off on a mission to the Czech Republic, wherein they met a golem maker/chainsaw and his “sister” Arachne the heretic witch. Said chainsaw (whose name was Giriko) managed to pummel both sets of meisters and weapons pretty well, before Justin showed up in his pimpmobile dune buggy o’ death and phat beats. He and Giriko got into a fight, which ended with the chainsaw running away like a little girl obeying Arachne’s commands to stop fooling around and saunter off/ride in a limo to their secret hideout and their massive terrorist organization. It was the start of a beautiful rivalry. The sort of beautiful rivalry that involves fights to the death every time they meet up, which eventually degenerates into mutual snarking.

So, Justin gives our heroes a ride in the pimpmobile, and then leaves the story for a little.

Then a rather large group of weapons, mesiters, and cannon fodder goes on a mission to some-random-island-near-Alaska-that-used-to-have-a-super-secret-witches-base-where-they-kept-a-super-secret-tool-that-has-been-sitting-there-for-like-800-years-with-no-one-actually-bothering-to-go-collect-it. Oh, also Giriko is there too, so you know that there’s going to be another fight between chainsaw and guillotine. Justin and his beatmobile set off an avalanche with the noise and buries all of Giriko’s buddies and their massive golems under tons of snow. Also it buries the beatmobile. Giriko cuts the avalanche in half, Justin hugs a tree, and they’re the only two left standing. Another fight ensues, and Giriko again hauls it out of there.

Then Justin vanishes from the scene for quite a while, and this is where it gets headcannony and iffy! I’m going to go with the interpretation that I’ll be using for this RP, which is opposed to the “Justin was an insane traitor the entire time” version.

So! During this time, he possibly meets up with everyone’s favorite nightmare fuel, the Clown. Needless to say, it kind of drives him insane, and possibly (no clear word of god on this yet) takes up residence inside his head. He then murders BJ, a man with advanced soul perception who was working for Shinigami, for reasons not clearly explained, though apparently BJ was a threat to the Kishin.

Additionally during this time, he switched religious alliances from Shinigami to the Kishin.

Then he joined up with a wonderful man named Noah. Noah (as his name might imply) is a collector. A collector of everything. Justin has decided (for reasons unknown, or possibly just because he’s totally crazy) to work for Noah. He finds Giriko and convinces him to join up with Noah. Then he (lurking around in the deserts outside of Death City because he is, as I mentioned before, totes insane) gets himself beaten up by Dr. Stein and the Death Scythe Marie Mjolnir. He gets his misogynistic rear handed to him by said Death Scythe, and runs away using a magic piece of teleportation paper. Then goes after the witch Medusa and (showing off his spiffy new Clown/insanity-given abilities which include a full weapon form from every French aristocrat’s nightmares) gets in a fight with her. Their fight is halted by the arrival of the South American Death Scythe (who happens to be a mirror wearing half a fursuit) and his meister (who happens to be a monkey. I SHOULD HAVE WARNED YOU THIS SERIES IS ON CRACK). Justin books it, using another piece of that aforementioned teleportation paper.

AND THAT’S IT!

Roleplay Sample - Log:
Less than a day here and he had already gained a new nervous habit, fiddling with the collar. And it was decidedly a nervous habit, seeing as he was standing in the common area right outside of the room where Death the Kid was housed.

He was a Death Scythe, he had faced down Kishin Eggs and Witches, he could make a simple apology in person. Nevermind that apologizing was very rarely in the job description for Death Scythes. He could do this.

Steeling himself, he raised one hand (the one that had been toying with his collar) and knocked twice on the door.

Roleplay Sample - Journal: [A teenager is fiddling with the device. Not much a surprise there, seeing just how many teenagers there are in the facility. When he decides that he's fiddled enough and the thing has to be recording by now, he speaks, voice amazingly loud.]

Ah, hello? I am sure there must be some sort of mistake.

[Awkward, nervous, something not-quite-right in his voice. He's not sure at all that this was a mistake, but he's not sure what's going on, what happened and why there's a gap in his memory.]

I am the Death Scythe Justin Law, and I really should be somewhere else.

[He was supposed to be in the Book, and this was decidedly not the Book.]

Any information on the current situation would be greatly appreciated.
